JMC Students in Field / Foreign Study940 viewsThese photos appeared in _JMC: The Liberating Journey_ (D. Gordon Rohman, 1966 or 1967).

"The cross-cultural theme of JMC is apparent in the hundreds of student pictures taken in Spain, Switzerland and Russia. Students also participate in domestic field study programs."

JMC's First Graduate: Margaret Burrow (Sullivan) - 1968992 viewsThis photo was posted to the Web on a family webpage maintained by Margaret's brother. It shows Margaret and her brothers in front of Phillips Hall, apparently on her graduation day.

Margaret graduated from JMC / MSU in 1968 - only the third year of the College's existence. This makes her the first JMC graduate (or at least the earliest JMC graduate I've yet been able to document).

Her brother's summary of Margaret's post-MSU life and career is available in the JMC Veterans Directory at this site.

A more recent (1998) photo of Margaret is available in the Morrillite Mug Shots Gallery at this site.

JMC Poster: Back Side1052 viewsThis poster was known to have been distributed in Fall 1973, and it may have been distributed as early as 1972.

The numbered points arrayed around the poster provide a good summary of the JMC concept in general and the manner in which JMC portrayed itself to prospective students during both this period and the overall timeframe during which the College was in existence.
